Reason for sharing a donut
This conversation happened tonight as we were driving around...
Mira: Hey Mom, do you want the rest of my donut?
Me: Are you full? You can't be done with your donut.
Mira: No, but I thought if I gave you my donut then you wouldn't ask for any of my Icee.
Me: It would have been nicer if you said 'Mom, I love you so much and want to share my donut with you.'
Mira: Yeah, it would have been. But then I wouldn't have gotten my point across that I don't want you to have any of my Icee!!
I love her anyway.
